VP Sales & Marketing at JBM Packaging

A transformational leader and entrepreneur, David Warren has a passion for building and growing companies. He grew up with business in his blood, at just 16 years old, he landed his first job in computer programming. From there, David has led top-performing organizations of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to his own start-ups. He joined JBM Packaging as the VP of Sales and Marketing in 2019, seeing the opportunity to align his personal values and manufacturing expertise with JBMs purpose of creating better solutions, better lives and a better world.

An avid outdoorsman, Davids parents worked with the Oregon State Forestry Services and helped instill Davids passion and respect for nature and the outdoors at a young age. Hoping to protect much of the nature he grew up enjoying, David now works with companies looking to reduce their environmental impact through packaging. Blending his deep knowledge in manufacturing engineering with a customer-centric approach, he helps brands create beautiful, plastic-free packaging solutions that deliver on their sustainability goals.

A speaker at the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation and Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), David enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with audiences, weaving together facts and information in an enlightening, storytelling format.

David graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Xavier University and is a certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineer (CMTSE)—certified through the Association for Manufacturing and Technology. He was named to Cincinnati Business Courier’s 40 Under 40 List in 2010. That same year, David started Ski Board Serve Foundation, an organization that helps instill leadership skills and confidence in high school students through high-octane outdoors activities like skiing, climbing and service projects.

When he’s not working, you can most likely find David in the woods surrounding his home in Cincinnati, hiking, backpacking, or camping with his wife, Kelsey, dog and four children.
