Wechsler, Raphael

Raphael is a seasoned sustainability strategist with a unique ability to guide businesses in integrating sustainability into their operations and enhancing brand equity. A proven leader, he has directed multiple successful turnarounds, showcasing his blend of sustainable practices and strategic vision.

Raphael has made significant strides in sustainable packaging as the former Sustainability Lead for Contempo Packaging. He played a pivotal role in introducing environmentally conscious packaging solutions, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable business practices.

A personal encounter with a rare form of cancer in 2001 sparked Raphael's interest in the therapeutic potential of cannabis. This led him to establish Wroots Botanicals LLC and chair the Sustainability Committee of the Cannabis Association of New York. 

As an active community and environmental activist, Raphael is a board member of the Open Space Committee in Tiverton, Rhode Island. He also made his mark in the investment world by creating one of Iceland’s first ESG investing platforms. 

Raphael holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona and a BA from Boston University, where he graduated cum laude and was a member of The National Honor Society.
